Precession Vortex Flow Meter

The precession vortex flowmeter integrates the function of flow, temperature, and pressure detection, and can automatically compensate for temperature, pressure, and compression factors. It is an ideal instrument for gas measurement in petroleum, chemical, electric power, metallurgy, and other industries.

Specification

The flow profile of the flow sensor is similar to the profile of a Venturi tube. A set of helical vanes is arranged at the inlet. When the fluid enters the flow sensor, the vane forces the fluid to produce a vortex flow. When the fluid enters the diffusion section, the vortex flow begins to rotate twice under the action of backflow, forming a gyroscopic vortex precession phenomenon. The precession frequency is proportional to the flow rate and is not affected by the physical properties and density of the fluid, and the detection element can measure the secondary rotational precession frequency of the fluid to obtain good linearity in a wide flow range. The signal is amplified, filtered, and transformed into a pulse signal proportional to the flow rate by the preamplifier, and then sent to the microprocessor for integration processing together with the temperature, pressure, and other detection signals, and finally, the measurement results are displayed on the LCD screen (instantaneous flow, cumulative flow, and temperature and pressure data)
