Oval Gear Flow Meter
An elliptical gear flowmeter is a volumetric meter used to continuously or intermittently measure and control the flow of liquid in a pipeline. It has the advantages of high precision, large range, small pressure loss, strong viscosity adaptability, easy calibration, easy installation, and can measure high temperature and high viscosity liquids. Suitable for chemical, petroleum, chemical fiber, transportation, trade, medicine, food, health, and other industries flow measurement. The LC Series oval gear flow meters are equipped with pointer and word wheel accumulators to directly display the cumulative and instantaneous flow through the pipe. In the counting mechanism, the transmission signal is combined with the electronic display instrument to achieve remote centralized control of cumulative, constant, and instantaneous flow. High temperature and high viscosity liquids can be measured by adding a heating device. Different liquids (acid, alkali, salt, organic solution, etc.) flow meter body can choose different materials.

The measurement unit of the flow rate is an early moon-shaped cavity composed of a pair of elliptical gears and a cover plate. The elliptical gear is rotated by the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the flow meter, so that the liquid is constantly measured by the initial moon cavity and sent to the outlet, and the liquid flowing through each turn is four times that of the initial moon cavity, and the total number of elliptical gear turns and the speed of rotation is transmitted to the counting mechanism or the transmitter by the sealed coupling, so that the total amount of liquid and instantaneous flow through the pipeline can be known
